It's the world's first reality game show featuring the hot world of gangsta rap! It's rap legend Snoop Dogg's first weekly series, Tha U.S. Idozll. Following in the footsteps of American Idol, Snoop Dogg's new series pits 12 finalists -- six from the East Coast, six from the West Coast, in two feuding teams of rappers.

Each week, one rapper will leave the show -- either by a vote of the audience or at the hands of a rival gang -- until only one remains. Then he's got 30 days to survive a series of grueling public appearances before he's crowned as the first U.S. Idozll!

"We're proud to have this innovative series on our airwaves," said ABC president Stu Bloomberg. "Having musical performers fight it out until one is crowned as the winner? Brilliant stuff. And we're happy to have picked a genre, Gangsta Rap, that everyone here at ABC can get behind. Today, Disney's definitely got killaz on its payroll."
