Because You Care
We here at TeeVee are glad for the great reception we've gotten since going on the air a few months ago.Now, granted, if we were on CBS we would've been pulled after one episode. The ratings aren't that high yet. Then again, this is the Web, and things build slowly.
Heck, if our page hits hadn't killed us right away, then the critical acclaim would've been the kiss of death. Within a couple weeks of launch, Glenn Davis' Cool-Site-With-a-K Project Cool had already declared us a "Cool Sighting of the Day." Recently we also were chosen as a WebCrawler select site. And the mighty Aaron Barnhart, whose Late Show News is the end-all, be-all of TeeVee talk show coverage on the Net, even plugged the site before rushing off to be the new TeeVee columnist at the Kansas City Star.
Since we're not on CBS, what does it all mean? Jack squat. What we're really here for are the loving letters from fans, like the two we've received to date. They made use of our exciting feedback address to write missives that would make Lady Chatterly blush.

Never has such a simple question encapsulated the Net so well. Even on a site like this, mostly text with only a few tiny animated GIFs to hint at the wider world outside our walls, we must always remember the true reason for the Internet's existence: to transmit pictures of Teri Hatcher faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Do you know when the American Music Awards is coming on?
Hayli, Hayli. Do we know? Well, of course we know. We know the air dates and times for all 23 major award shows -- plus the Emmys. The real question you should be asking yourself is: are we gonna tell you?
No way. We're too busy watching TeeVee, and when we're not watching TeeVee, there are those pictures of Teri Hatcher awaiting us.
